Hits-shirt.jpgThe chaotic, unpredictable and, dare we say it, dangerous thing that is Brisbane band HITS have announced that their long-awaited second album is on its way on Queensland label Conquest Of Noise in April.

Produced by Rob Younger (New Christs, Radio Birdman) and engineered by Jeff Lovejoy (The Lovejoys, Mick Medew & The Rumours), "Hikikomori" was recorded over a period of several weeks in Brisbane after the band had recovered from a rigorous European tour.

“Hikikomori” (it’s Japanese for acute social withdrawal) will be issued in a 180gm vinyl pressing plus a run of CDs. It was mastered by Don Bartley.

Conquest Of Noise is a Brisbane vinyl label and distribution service run by Peter “Booges” Werth, drummer for ‘90s Sydney band The Lowdorados and former booker of Sydney’s defunct Green Square venue.

HITS are one of Australia’s most exciting rock and roll acts and made a big impression with their debut "Living With You Is Killing Me". They’ll undertake a national tour to support “Hikikomori” and we’ll tell you how to pre-order a copy soon.
