They’re back and they’re not the S*x P*stols.
Public Image Ltd (did you know they are led by John Lydon?) have announced a series of Australian and New Zealand shows as part of their global “This Is Not… The Final PiL Tour.”
Following sold-out European and North American legs in 2026, the band will bring their uncompromising sound to Australian audiences for the first time since 2013 and to New Zealand for the first time since 1989.
Fans can expect a setlist spanning PiL’s formidable catalogue, including ground-breaking early works like “Public Image” and “Second Edition” (aka “Metal Box”.) The current line-up features Lydon (vocals) alongside long-standing members Bruce Smith (drums), Lu Edmonds (guitar) and Scott Firth (bass).
Presumably there's no need to recount theor history. PiL continue to push boundaries as one of the most influential and unpredictable forces in modern music.
