Looking back on the Ron Asheton Benefit in Sydney
On December 6, 2013, some of Sydney's best-known rock and roll stalwarts gathered to celebrate the life of Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton, who passed away in 2009.

The Visitors (led by ex-Radio Birdman guitarist Deniz Tek), Hoodoo Gurus, the New Christs (led by ex-Birdman singer Rob Younger) and tribute bands the SC5 and the Four Stooges gave their time for a show at the Manning Bar, Sydney University, that raised more than $A10,000 for the Ron Asheton Foundation.
